Currently she is Professor in the Department of surgery and cancer at the Imperial College London and Hammersmith Hospital, LONDON and also Chair in the endocrine surgery.
She is the Head of ENETS Centre of Excellence for GEP Neuroendocrine Tumours, Imperial College, LONDON.
She is the member of the Task Force Group “ NET”, USA.
She has done extensive basic research work in “ Role of microRNAs in intestinal NETs”, “ Tissue marker in neuroendocrine tumour”, “metabolic phenotyping in neuroendocrine tumours” and Hereditary Medullary Thyroid Cancer.
She has done extensive clinical research in “ Multimodal treatment of neuroendocrine Liver metastasis”, “Molecular imaging techniques in NET” and “ Biobank for NETs”
She has published major articles on “ PRRT in metastatic NET”, “Predicting the survival of patient’s with small bowel neuroendocrine tumours “.
She is the fellow of Royal College of surgeons,, Fellow of American College of surgeons and American association of endocrine surgeon’s and is on the review board of British Journal of surgery, Annals of surgery, and clinical endocrinology and metabolism.
