Prof. Paul Newey, UK

Paul Newey is an Honorary NHS Consultant in Endocrinology & Diabetes at Ninewells Hospital & Medical School. He trained in Edinburgh and Oxford, undertaking his DPhil in molecular genetics in the field of Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia (MEN). His main areas of interest are in understanding the molecular and genetic basis of endocrine disorders including pituitary and parathyroid tumours. He is a co-author of the international guidelines for the management of Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia type 1 (MEN1) and has considerable clinical experience in the management of neuroendocrine tumours (NETs). He is also a Senior Lecturer at University of Dundee.
